Dr. Monique Andrews is a teacher and scholar in Embodied Neuroscience who leads seminars and workshops around the world.
As a long time student of neuroscience, chiropractic and eastern spiritual practices, she presents from a unique perspective, blending modern tools with ancient wisdom. Drawing on years of intensive study and teaching, she has become an expert in embodied somatic practices and is an international award-winning speaker in the areas of Neuroscience, Polyvagal theory and Nervous system regulation.
Through her work with The PRANA Foundation she is a powerful guide and mentor for those drawn to evolving their own wisdom and easing the path for others. Dr. Mo’s vision is to elevate the consciousness of humanity.
Holding both Doctor of Chiropractic and Master’s degrees in Neuroscience, the breath and depth of her knowledge is vast. Dr. Mo is best known for her engaging presentations and TED style of speaking, making even the most difficult concepts accessible to all learners.
Earlier in her career as a research scientist, Dr. Mo published peer-reviewed papers in the fields of Psychoneuroimmunology and the Neurobiology of Reward. An Embodied Neuroscience expert, she speaks internationally on topics such as the Chiropractic neurology, Polyvagal Theory, Trauma, Stress, Neuoregulation, Neurodevelopment and the Evolutionary Impact of Embodied Practices on the Brain.
In addition to being passionate about all things neuro related Dr. Mo is deeply committed to easing the path for others. Alongside her wife, Dr. Tamara MacIntyre, Dr. Mo co-founded The PRANA Foundation, whose mission it is to cultivate an engaged, supportive community that fosters healing, growth and the fullest expression of our realized selves through continuing education, a professional community and personal development.
Dr. Mo’s scholastic acumen is an obvious asset, however those closest to her know her greatest gift is the enormity of her heart. Dr. Mo’s compassionate, authentic expression of life is exemplified by her belief that who you are as a person precedes everything else in your life.
